Covid-19 Update:

Cleaner Air to Keep You Safe and Healthy

In light of Covid-19 and in an effort to bring our patients the best possible care, we're excited to announce that we've purchased a new air purifying unit for the practice! This means that when you visit us, you'll be breathing clean, purified air that uses a six-stage filtration process.

So, How Does it Work?

Our new air purifying unit is designed to decrease pollutants, odors, gasses, disinfectants, molds, viruses and fungus that can disturb the air. In six steps, the unit can accomplish:

  1. Ridding the air of dust and other particles through its anti-microbial filter
  2. Utilizing static electricity to rid the air of larger bacteria and smog
  3. Ridding the air of chemicals and odors through an activated carbon filter
  4. UV light operations destroy viruses, bacteria, mold and other allergens
  5. Organic chemicals are removed through the use of titanium during oxidizing
  6. The hydroxyl radical reactivity chamber utilizes negative ions to revitalize and reenergize the air before it's pumped back through the practice.

This process repeats six times each hour, meaning the air you breathe at Detroit Dental Company is much cleaner than the air outside!

Not Every Dental Office is Created Equal

Due to using high speed instruments, ultrasonic scalers, waterlines and welcoming sick patients into the practice, sometimes, an unhealthy cloud containing viruses, bacteria, biofilm and odors can linger in the practice air--for up to 40 hours!

At Detroit Dental Company, you'll never have to worry about that--especially with our new filtration system. Take a look (or a breath) for yourself the next time you're in. We look forward to seeing you in the practice soon.
